Mission Statement
To provide our clients with the personal service and quality of merchandise unavailable at chain stores, mass market merchandisers and those independent jewelers who try to compete with them.

We will accomplish this by simply refusing to sell the type of jewelry or services, which we could not recommend to a neighbor or friend. We will carefully select and inspect items for our store "one at a time." Nothing will be purchased in quantity or mass-produced. None of our services such as repairs, custom design or appraisals will be performed on a mass basis. Every client's jewelry will be processed individually and carefully inspected with the same care as if it were our own. We will take as much time as is necessary to assure quality in all of our repairs, appraisals and custom orders.

Our code of ethical conduct will be in accordance with those set down by the American Gem Society. Our prices will be competitive without fictitious markups and be fair to everyone who enters our store. We will provide a Certified Gemologist Appraiser and Master Goldsmith to assure the quality of our jewelry and services and to be available for consultation with our clients no matter how much time they require. Every client who enters our store will be given the same level of care and service no matter what the size of their purchase.

History
M.A.B. Diamonds was founded in 1946 in Berlin, Germany by Mates A. Bruner after fleeing communist East Europe. After moving to the United States M.A.B. Diamonds was opened in 1959 in Aldan, Pennsylvania. His sons Joseph and Samuel opened a store a few miles away in Springfield in 1976. The Aldan store was closed in 1993. Rather than open another store Joe and Sam decided to concentrate all their efforts in one location as the best way to assure quality and superior service.

The Springfield store attracts clients from a wide area and M.A.B. Diamonds is famous for its unsurpassed commitment to quality, honesty and integrity. In fact our one location does as much business as many companies with two or more stores. We truly believe we provide the best combination of volume while still maintaining an old fashioned store where every client can talk to an owner.
