Sam Bruner Samuel Bruner -began working with Joseph after graduation from college and eventually became a partner in the firm. Samuel recognized immediately the importance of the Graduate Gemologist degree long before many jewelers ever heard of it. He considered it basic to operating the kind of jewelry store where any client could get a clear and honest answer to any question about jewelry. He applied for membership in the American Gem Society and became the first Certified Gemologist Appraiser in the Philadelphia area and as of 2008 remains the only one in Delaware County. He is in great demand as an appraiser because the Certified Gemologist Appraiser title is the highest title available in the jewelry industry and only a small number have achieved it nationally. This title requires a yearly recertification exam as well as continuing education in appraisal law and practice. Samuel has been recognized as an expert appraisal witness by the Philadelphia District Attorney's office and has appeared as an expert on numerous television exposes and interviews as well as in all local newspapers. |
